ShortList Recruitment are working with a market leading organisation based in Warrington who are looking for a Development Team Lead.
The Development Team Lead will be instrumental in leading the delivery of a range of market leading applications. This role is new for the organisation and will primarily focus on improving the development tools, processes and output to enable this organisation to scale with growing international demand for their products.
Responsibilities:
- Management of a team of developers
- Lead the full development life cycle
- Ensure all business standards are maintained across architecture, coding, design and test
- Own and run Sprint/Work Planning and Retrospectives
- Administration and lead projects using Jira
- Git administration
- Distribute product vision
- Identify team training and resourcing needs
- Create and maintain product pipelines
Essential Skills:
- Excellent Communications skills
- Strong and confident character
- Proven Team leadership and management experience.
- A strong background in .NET development and C#
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks
- A good understanding of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of web-based technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)
- Structured application design using MVC
- Knowledge of Scrum techniques and experience with Jira and Sprints
- Knowledge of developing API's (REST and SOAP)
- Automated testing knowledge
- Strong knowledge of GIT and Automated deployment frameworks
- Project Management experience - Owning and delivering time critical deliveries
The Development Team Lead will be exposed to exciting international projects and will be involved in the development of new functionality and maintenance of existing systems across several products. You will be required to lead a fast-moving dynamic development team involved throughout the software development life cycle.
The Development Team Lead role is paying up to £75,000 with fantastic benefits, including remote working. You will only be required in the office once per month for meetings. The role is based in Warrington and is commutable from Chester, Wirral, Liverpool, Manchester and Runcorn.
