Shortlist Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior IT Support Technician to join a well-established internal business near Chester. We are currently looking for an experienced 1st line Support Specialist who has experience within either an IT support provider or an internal IT support function and is looking to progress into 2nd line.
Role Responsibilities for Junior IT Support Technician
- Respond to either 2nd line support or end user software or hardware queries via email, phone or face to face.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults across the various systems within the business.
- Using your knowledge to provide IT assistance to staff members.
- Creating reports and maintaining various reporting platforms across the business.
- Liaise with 1st/3rd line Support in order to get incidents/changes/requests resolved.
Required Skills for the Junior IT Support Engineer
- 1st or 2nd line support experience.
- Self-driven and innovative individual.
- SCCM
- MS Active Directory
- MS Office 2016
- Windows 10
- MS Exchange
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication and people skills
