ShortList Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate UI Designer to join a very successful and industry leading company based in Chester. This business is recognised as an industry leader in their field and they are looking for someone who can work to exacting standards.
The role will be working closely with the product team to craft stunning, user-centric web and mobile interfaces. You will also have the opportunity to build a team under you, from the ground up.
Key skills required for the Graduate UI Designer:
- Background in arts/design a strong advantage
- Creative content writing experience would be a great benefit
- Web design experience in areas including UI Design and Illustrations
- Strong understanding of UX principles and understanding of responsive design
- Experience creating low fidelity Wireframes
- Ability to code with HTML and CSS, to create a live design, would be an advantage
- Knowledge of current design trends
- Good knowledge of Adobe suite, Photoshop, Figma, Proto.io etc
- Great communication and team management skills are needed as you will be developing your own team
The right Graduate UI Designer for this role will have a degree in Designer and have an impressive portfolio. A knowledge of current design trends and standards, is key for this role.
