ShortList Recruitment are working with a leading business in Liverpool who are recruiting for a DBA to join their growing data team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance and performance tuning of production SQL databases whilst ensuring high levels of data availability.

This role is also responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.

Key skills for the DBA to have:
  • Proven database skills in a commercial environment
  • MS SQL Server expert
  • ETL, Stored Procedures and Scheduled jobs
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management / engagement
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience of SSIS/BIDS would be advantage but not mandatory
  • Experience implementing/managing any BI tools
  • MCSE Data Management or MCSA SQL Server qualification would be an advantage

The role is paying up to £45,000 plus an excellent range of benefits, including a generous pension, 20% bonus & annual leave allowance. The role is currently remote and would revert to a hybrid working model long-term.

The position is commutable from Birkenhead, Chester, Deeside, Manchester, Preston, Runcorn, Southport, Warrington, Widnes and Wrexham. To apply, click here!
