ShortList Recruitment have a brilliant role for a UI Designer to join a successful business based in Chester.
Our client are industry leaders in their field and they’re looking for a UI Designer to help the business to design new applications and re-design current applications. The role will be working closely with the Senior UX Designer to create user-centric web and mobile interfaces.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Transform the wireframes that have been created by the Senior UX Designer and create stunning UI designs and prototypes for the client platform and mobile app
- Help out with marketing material, including email marketing, website, Internal documentation and print
- Assist the Senior UX Designer to prepare for design strategy meetings, including workshop prep and user testing
- Develop new approaches and Ideas, to pitch to stakeholders, off the back of user testing sessions
- Develop new web and mobile apps, using current design trends
Essential experience:
- 2+ years UI experience
- Experience using UI tools, such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio with Digital Design or UI work
- Experience with Android and iOS Design, would be beneficial but not essential

The UI Designer role is offering a salary of £35,000 plus a good benefits package. The position is based in Chester and is commutable from Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Wrexham, North Wales, Ellesmere Port and Runcorn. This is a hybrid working role, with the requirement to be in the office for 2 days’ per week.
