ShortList Recruitment are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join a rapidly expanding client based in Ellesmere port.
The successful Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for:
- QA duties which will include, Automated testing working frameworks already in process / building new frameworks from scratch
- coach test team members on how to use automation testing tools
- Working collaboratively with the development team
- You will re-evaluate software requirements and arrange testing scenarios.
- You will prepare and monitor applications and various software systems and troubleshoot any issues that may occur.
Skills required for Test Automation Engineer role:
- Help to achieve our transformation goal / way of working
- Demonstrate to the team what good looks like
- Experience in working with Scrum and Agile
- Experience of working as part of a wider chapter of dynamic testers
- Experience with Selenium Web Driver / Postman and ideally other possible tool suggestions e.g. API / Browser testing
- Experience of BDD with Specflow, Cucumber and Gherkin
- Working knowledge / experience of C# language
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills and have the aptitude to quickly grasp new concepts and information.
The successful Test Automation Engineer can expect a salary of up to £50,000 with great benefits. It is a fully remote position with expectations of going into office twice a month, and is commutable from Birkenhead, Chester, Deeside, Liverpool, Manchester, Runcorn and the Wirral.
