Lead Product Analyst

ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Product Analyst to join a forward-thinking, hugely ambitious and expanding company.

As a Lead Product Analyst, you will be responsible for providing insight to the wider business from the vast amounts of data held by the business. You’ll be ensuring that the business is identifying problems and creating opportunities from the data provided. You will also need the right drive to succeed, have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the latest technical innovations and trends.

The role of Lead Product Analyst will be the perfect fit for an analytical individual who has experience in working with commercial e-commerce websites – with an opportunity to grow with the company.  You will also need the skills to oversee all analytical output required for Product alongside driving forward best practice in the team for handling data.

The successful Lead Product Analyst will have the following experience:
  • Hold a deep understanding of Web and App data
  • Experience managing people and workflows using relevant tools and techniques. 
  • Proficient with A/B Testing and the subsequent analysis
  • Strong communicator and able to give recommendations to stakeholders when needed
  • Able to communicate how products are used by B2B and B2B2C customers
  • Confident with Google Analytics and other analytical tools
  • Open to different challenges and finding out new ways of solving problems

Key responsibilities for the role:
  • Coaching, managing and guiding new and existing team members
  • Connecting and understanding the needs of users
  • Working alongside stakeholders in order to gather and understand requirements
  • Helping to support strategic business initiatives that align to company objectives
  • Taking ownership of the key objectives, which includes personal growth and development
  • Encouraging a data-first approach to problem solving
  • Working alongside, and helping other analysts with larger business projects
  • Leading the development of the internal A/B testing platform

The role is paying up to £50,000 plus a great benefits package. The role offers hybrid working and easily commutable from Chester, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Wirral, and Wrexham.
