QA Analyst

ShortList Recruitment are looking for a QA Analyst to join a superb client based in Birkenhead to carry out test planning, execution and defect management on assigned projects to support live issues.
The successful candidate will be a strong manual, functional and regression software tester with ideally a minimum of 2 years' commercial experience in a fast-paced environment.
The QA Analyst will be responsible for carrying out a range of manual and functional tests and create high quality test cases to validate requirements have been met. You will perform a variety of testing types when required and work collaboratively with the developers, other testers and the project teams.
Key skills required for the QA Analyst:
- Minimum 2 years' commercial experience in manual, regression and functional testing
- Demonstrable ability to carry out quality testing
- Ability to use SQL to query databases
- Ability to create test cases, scripts and test plans to requirement
- Defect management/bug tracking (JIRA)
- Agile development environment experience
- ISTQB qualified
- Degree educated in Computer Science or similar subject
In return, the successful QA Analyst will be entitled to a salary of up to £40,000 (DOE) plus a range of benefits. This is a hybrid role.
