ShortList Recruitment are working with a market-leading client in Manchester who are recruiting for a PHP Developer to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' commercial experience using object-orientated PHP, who is looking for a progressive next step in their career into a mid-level role.
You will be working alongside a focused team of backend developers and testers, building quality, robust and reusable solutions, in a dynamic agile environment.
What You Will Need:
- Minimum 1-2 years' commercial experience with object-oriented PHP (Symfony, Laminas, Laravel, Lumen or similar)
- Experience writing automated tests
- In-depth knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs (SOAP & REST)
- Experience working with version control
- Experience working with package managers
- Understanding of AWS & Docker (nice to have)

The PHP Developer role is paying up to £45,000 (DOE) + benefits and comes with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days from home).
