ShortList Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a market-leading business based in Runcorn. Our client is currently going through a period of growth and is looking to strengthen their IT Support Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Networking and Infrastructure (Wifi, Cabling, Security, Routing)
•Server (Set-up, Management and Security)
•Software installation and validation
•1st & 2nd line support
•Asset management/control
•Simple maintenance tasks for a range of hardware devices
•Network configuration and management
Education and experience:
•Wide-ranging knowledge of information and communication technologies
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support
•ICT related degree (or equivalent)
•Demonstrated Understanding of best practice (ITIL, Change Management, Service Delivery)
•Experience of Warehouse and distributions centre systems (Desirable)
•Experience of public facing contact centres (Desirable)
The IT Support Technician will receive a salary of up to £30,000 plus excellent benefits.
This role will be based in Runcorn and is easily commutable from Birkenhead, Chester, Crewe, Northwich, Liverpool, Warrington, and North Wales
