ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Contract BI Analyst to join one of Chester's leading employers on an initial 6-month outside IR35 contract.
As a Contract BI Analyst, you will be responsible for providing novel insight to internal and external customers. You'll translate business requirements - engaging with stakeholders - into great self-serve reports and be able to tease out the underlying business problems and deliver insight to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a competent SQL user and will have solid experience building Power BI reports to address gaps in understanding, as well as to tackle and comprehend complex datasets. You will be a confident communicator capable of presenting and sharing findings.
Essential skills for the Contract BI Analyst:
- Strong Power BI user for data visualisation
- Ability to build complex queries both to extract and interrogate data (T-SQL)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in insight or analytics
- SSRS
- Ability to deliver critical first-time business reports
- Agile environment
The Contract BI Analyst will receive a daily rate of up to £375 and there is an immediate start available.
The role is based near Chester and offers hybrid working with at least 1 day required onsite per week. It is commutable from Liverpool, Crewe, Wirral, Runcorn, Warrington and North Wales.
