ShortList Recruitment have partnered with an exciting Media Company who are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to be a part of their HyperGrowth movement.
Job Description
• Architect, develop, test, deploy and monitor Android applications.
• Push for code quality and simplicity - CI (continuous improvement).
• Works with product, UX and customers to make sure the team is building the right thing.
• Proactively plans how to test (both manual and automation) and deploy features.
• Mentor, coordinate, coach other engineers and figure out how to make us better/faster/stronger.
Requirements
• Super eager to learn, work hard and grow
• Bias towards simplicity
• 4+ years designing and building systems:
o Android - Kotlin
o help backend engineers design RESTful API
• Some experience coaching/mentoring other engineers
• Some CS algorithm and data structures background
Bonus Skills
• Java - although we use Kotlin
• Backend REST APIs
• GCP, AWS, CI/CD, Testing automation
• CS Degree
